Insurance Pre-requisites
PRE-REQUISITES
Therapists must have the following identified pre-requisite training deemed as necessary to perform treatments safely and professionally.
When you take out an insurance policy with us, it is in both parties interests to ensure that your policy will cover you in the unfortunate event of a claim. Your policy will ONLY cover you if you are fully qualified in the treatment that you are providing and carry out vital administration and follow procedures to ensure quality, hygiene and training guidelines are strictly followed such as patch tests, consultation forms and after care which is why, once you take out BABTAC insurance and membership, that we request to see copies of all of your certificates. This protects not only your client, but yourself.
Below we have provided an A-Z of Pre-requisites. All pre-requisites are compulsory, and we do not deviate from the below guidelines. * pre-requisites are reviewed on an annual basis but are under consideration continually using claim statistics.
